COVID-19 Nursing Home ECHO

ECHO sessions will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00-2:00pm EST starting January 20th, 2022 through June 15th, 2023.

A monthly interactive education session in which Nursing Facility staff, residents and family members convene to discuss and address concerns brought on by the COVID pandemic. Topics are flexible and will be adapted to the needs and wishes of the participants but are scheduled to include:

  • Innovative solutions to Workforce challenges
  • Social Isolation
  • Vaccine Hesitancy
  • Burnout and Compassion Fatigue
  • Advance Care Planning

Learning Outcome:

 At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss best practices in caring for the physical and mental health of individuals living in nursing facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
