Effective Strategies for Supervising Mental Health Peer Specialists ECHO

Sessions will be held the second Wednesday of the month starting Sep 28, 2022-Apr 12, 2023 from 9am-10am EST (first session 9-11am)

9/28/2022

Team leaders and managers often experience challenges when supervising mental health peer specialists due to peers’ unique specialty role. Without active and skillful management, the differences between peer support and clinical work can cause conflict on mental health teams. Our goal is to increase knowledge of peer support in the context of supervision and team management, along with providing opportunities for discussing de-identified situations and connecting with other supervisors
